Sara Blackmore

Sara Blackmore studied at the University of Canterbury, where she completed a Bachelor of Speech and Language Therapy, followed by a Masters in Audiology. Sara worked in Christchurch before moving up to Palmerston North late last year, and is glad to be on steady ground. When she is not at work she enjoys the outdoors, particularly diving and spending time with her puppy.

Owen White

Owen is currently studying for his diploma in Audiometry. He has worked at Sally White Audiology for twelve years and his main expertise and interests
are in hearing aid trouble shooting. Owen also manages our importing company Pinna Holdings which imports ‘Earplanes’ for people who can’t cope with rapid pressure changes when they are flying. Outside work, Owen spends time with his family, loves snowboarding and is a regular gym devotee.

Sally White

Sally first became interested in Audiology when she and her husband Derek were attending the University of Florida. On returning home to New Zealand with her newly acquired Masters in Audiology she worked for 8 years in Palmerston North Hospitals Audiology Department, before starting her own private practice. The practice, now situated in a purpose built building at 476 Church Street, is the only locally owned and operated Independent Audiology Practice in Palmerston North. Sally has held her Certificate of Clinical Competence issued by the NZ Audiological Society for more than 25 years. Sally’s other interests include gardening and quilting.
